The new Renault Grand Scenic is a close sibling to the recent Scenic release, the biggest difference being that it has an extra two seats which will make a big difference for many family orientated car buyers, the vehicle itself is focused on practicality and passenger space. The Grand Scenic is 228mm longer than the Scenic in order to fit the extra row of seats in. The Grand Scenic proves itself as a versatile family car offering a respectable 233 litres worth of boot space in the vehicle with the two rear seats in place and 596 litres with them folded down.

Inside the front of the Renault Scenic the dashboard feels extremely upmarket for such a large family car with smooth materials and a portrait touch screen system with an abundance of features. There is a centre sliding console within the vehicle which is a welcome addition for any passenger sitting in the hump seat allowing for extra legroom and boasting an almost entirely flat floor when slid forward. The downfall of the Grand Scenic is that it is not quite as good looking as the Scenic, this is because of the extra space needed for the two rear seats which produces an overhang of around 19mm, however it is an aesthetically pleasing vehicle within its own right. With the maximum towing weight 1850kg depending on the model it is an improvement on the previous version which didn’t allow for much at all.
